Gandhi
Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi (October 2, 1869 - January 30, 1948) was born in Porbandar in western India. When Gandhi gained popularity later in life he was referred to as Mahatma Gandhi a name given to him by the people of India. Mahatma means great soul.
