Alexander Graham Bell

     

In 1871Alexander Graham Bell moved to Boston, MA and continued to work at schools for the deaf, even tutoring Helen Keller. He also created teachers conventions for the deaf so they could exchange ideas, and he founded the American Association to Promote the Teaching of Speech to the Deaf. Alexander Graham Bell came up with the concept of the telephone when he experimented with a human ear, bones, and magnets. He thought that one could create vibrations with an electrical current.
