Henry Ford

Henry Ford created a new policy of paying his workers extremely generous wages. He would pay $5 a day which was twice the normal wages of assembly line workers. $5 a day was equal to $111 dollars in todays dollars. This photo shows a youthful Henry Ford - can you find the three differences in this photo hunt puzzle?

The higher pay proved to be very profitable for Ford because the company had significantly lower turnover rates. The press coined the term "Fordism" from Fords desire to provide very affordable goods for people, and high wages to his workers.
