Harriet Tubman
Harriet Tubman (c. 1821 March 10, 1913) was born in Dorchester County, Maryland. Her parents were descendants of the Ashanti tribe in Africa. The main crop of the Brodas family was lumber, and Harriet remarked later in life that she didnt like to work indoors. She spent many days helping drive oxen to haul lumber logs. |
