Marco Polo
Marco Polo (c. 1254 January 8, 1324) was a famous explorer who traveled to the Far East, and returned to his native Venice 24 years later. Marco Polo was born in Venice to a family of merchants and traders. His father and uncle had an idea of traveling to the Far East. They left when Marco was six and Marco was raised by his mother. |
