Stonehedge

Stonehenge got its name from the combination of the word stone and henge. The stone part comes from the fact that the structure is constructed with stones. The "henge" part comes from an archeological class of circular earthwork monuments known as henges. This photo shows Stonehenge in winter with snow - can you find the three differences in this photo hunt puzzle?

Stonehenges phases of construction spanned about 1500 years. The first phase of Stonehenge was simply a large circular banked ditch around 3100 BC.
