Acropolis

Archeologists believe that people inhabited the area where The Acropolis now stands as far back as 6,000 BC. The Mycenaean civilization was the first to build on the Acropolis. They built walls and a palace there around 1600 BC. This photo shows the Parthenon of the Acropolis - can you find the three differences in this photo hunt puzzle?

Most of the ruins of The Acropolis that one sees now were built during the time of Pericles, which was considered the Golden Age of Athens around 450 BC.
