Mt Everest

Andrew Waugh spotted Mount Everest in 1847 and believed that it was taller than Kangchenjunga, but he did not have precise enough equipment to consider his findings 100% accurate. This photo shows the summit of Mount Everest from one of the many camps - can you find the three differences in this photo hunt puzzle?

Andrew Waugh came back to the Himalayas two years later and took much more precise readings of Mount Everest. It wouldnt be until 1856 until he processed all his data and published his findings about Mount Everest.
