The Great Barrier Reef

One of the greatest threats to the Great Barrier Reef is the Crown-of-Thorns Seastar animal. It is a predator of coral and the outbreak of these creatures has increased rather recently. This photo shows a satellite image of the Great Barrier Reef - can you find the three differences in this photo hunt puzzle?

Scientists speculate that the starfish population is increasing because of changing water conditions due to rainfall runoff, and also the fishing industry has been over-fishing and removing many of the starfishs natural predators.
