The Grand Canyon

The Grand Canyon allows visitors to look back into time. The Colorado River has been carving out the Grand Canyon for billions of years, but the rock formations that are exposed are billions of years old. This photo shows an old buildin g at the Grand Canyon - can you find the three differences in this photo hunt puzzle?

The different layers of rock that you can see along the walls of the Grand Canyon are called rock strata. Visitors can see rocks from the Paleozoic and Precambrian eras.

FYI - Use the arrows to advance next and back.
