The Forbidden City
The Forbidden City was built specifically for the use of the emperor, but was amazingly large it had close to 1,000 buildings. The color yellow was considered the color of the emperor, and is found in the emperors clothing and belongings. At the center of the Forbidden City is the largest building The Hall of Supreme Harmony. The hall is the largest wooden structure in all of China. The Hall of Supreme Harmony also contains the emperors throne - The Dragon Throne. |
