Dome of the Rock
The most striking feature of the outer structure is the dome. The dome has gone through several changes. During the 1500s the dome was covered with ceramic tiles called Iznik. This photo shows the Dome of the Rock - can you find the three differences in this photo hunt puzzle?

Then a large renovation took place in 1955 that changed the look of the dome. The tiles had become damaged from weathering over the years. The tiles were removed and replaced with an aluminum/bronze covering. |
