Angel Falls
Jimmy Angel was a US pilot that was flying and charting areas of Venezuela in hopes of finding gold ore. On November 16, 1933 he flew over Angel Falls and by accident rediscovered the waterfalls. Jimmy Angel was very impressed by the grandeur of Angel Falls, and he began telling many people of the landmark. Word spread even more when he returned to Angel Falls and tried to land in the top of the mountain. |
