Ben Franklin

Benjamin Franklin eventually bought the Pennsylvania Gazette newspaper. Franklin began writing lots of articles for the paper and it soon became the most circulated newspaper in the nation. The first political cartoon appeared in his newspaper and the cartoon was done by Ben Franklin. This photo shows Ben Franklin reading - can you find the three differences in this photo hunt puzzle?

But Franklin kept working and expanding by publishing Poor Richard's Almanac. Almanacs of that time were printed annually, and contained things like herbal remedies and weather reports. Poor Richard's Almanac was different because of Franklins witty writing style and his famous proverbs like "a penny saved is a penny earned."
