Michelangelo
Pope Julius II summoned Michelangelo to Rome, and wanted him to design his eventual tomb. As soon as Michelangelo began working for the Pope he was given other jobs at the Vatican and he worked intermittently for the next 40 years and never completely finished the tomb.
