Marco Polo returned home to Venice 25 years after they had left. His rise to stardom happened when he was a member of the Venetian navy and was captured by Genoa. While in prison he befriended a writer named Rusticiano. Did you find the 3 changes? Click to see the next puzzle.

Marco Polo relayed the story of his travels and Rusticiano wrote the book The Travels of Marco Polo. It became a huge success and was translated into many languages. Many have said the book was the inspiration for Christopher Columbus.
