John Locke

In 1666, John Locke met Lord Ashley Cooper who was the Earl of Shaftesbury. Cooper had traveled to Oxford to get treatment for a liver problem. Cooper was impressed after meeting Locke. This photo shows a statue of John Locke - can you find the three differences in this photo hunt puzzle?

After getting treatment at Oxford Cooper asked John Locke to come be his personal physician. Locke accepted and the two became lifelong friends, and the two even traveled extensively throughout France and Europe.
