Johann Gutenberg

Gutenberg was skillful in the art of bookmaking. Bookmaking in Europe had consisted of hand-written books and labor-intensive printing presses. What Gutenberg came up with changed everything. This photo shows Johann Gutenberg doing some printing work - can you find the three differences in this photo hunt puzzle?

Gutenberg came up with the idea of movable-type printing. With printing presses of the time, every plate used to print every page of a book had to be created by hand. Movable type meant that once all the individual letters were created they could be slid in to grooves and you could be printing a page within an hour.
