Henry Ford
Henry Ford became an engineer for Edison Illuminating Company, and was promoted to chief engineer within two years. Young Ford idolized Thomas Edison and later in life the two became good friends. During this time Henry Ford started to take a page out of Edisons book and started designing his first gas-powered car called the Ford Quadricycle. After Thomas Edison told him to pursue his dream Henry Ford eventually created the Ford Motor Company in 1903. |
