World War I

     

In 1918, the tide began to turn in favor of the Allies. Germany was having much internal strife including a large anti-war movement and significant economic problems. Also the US had entered the war in April of 1917 and brought more supplies and soldiers. Did you find the 3 changes? Click to see the next puzzle.

On August 8, 1918 the Allies began the Hundred Days Offensive, and began pushing the Central Powers back. Casualties were very high and soon a cease-fire was declared. The Treaty of Versailles marked the official end of the war.
