Panama Canal

Before the Panama Canal was built, ships that wanted to travel from one coast of the United States to another had travel all the way down to the tip of South America and cross at Cape Horn. Did you find the 3 changes? Click to see the next puzzle.

After the Panama Canal was completed, ships were able to cross oceans using the canal and cut off half the route saving 8,000 miles. The crossing at Cape Horn was also known to be very dangerous.
